Terms of Use

End User Licence Agreement for the Vestriq mobile application.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Adease LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14743980), registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("Vestriq", "we", "our", "us"), governing your use of the Vestriq mobile application and related services (the "App").

By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using Vestriq, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Vestriq is

Vestriq is an educational app for learning about finance and investing. It offers lessons, quizzes, a simulated portfolio, a simulated AI trading agent, an AI coach, AI chart analysis tools, streaks, and leagues.

Simulated and hypothetical results do not represent actual trading and do not predict or guarantee future performance. Investing in real markets involves risk, including the loss of everything you invest. Any decision you make with real money is yours alone; consider speaking to a qualified, regulated adviser first.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. Purchasing a subscription requires that you are 18 or over, or that the account holder of the Apple ID or Google account used has authorised the purchase.

3. Accounts

You can start using Vestriq without registering; the App creates an anonymous session on your device so your progress can be saved. You may later create an account with an email address and password or through third-party authentication (Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In), which lets you keep your progress across devices. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. AI features

The AI coach, chart analyser, market forecaster, pattern finder, and simulated trading agent generate content automatically using artificial-intelligence models. That content is educational and informational only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, it is not tailored to your personal circumstances, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Do not rely on it to make real financial decisions.

Do not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information in messages to the AI coach or in images you upload for analysis. Free accounts may be limited in how many AI requests they can make.

5. Vestriq Pro subscriptions

Much of Vestriq can be used free of charge. Some lessons and features require Vestriq Pro, an auto-renewing subscription:

• Vestriq Pro — Monthly. Duration: 1 month. US$24.99 per month, or the equivalent shown on the store listing in your local currency. May include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Vestriq Pro — Yearly. Duration: 1 year. US$99.99 per year, or the equivalent shown on the store listing in your local currency.

Both plans unlock the same Pro content and features for the duration of the subscription. The price and any trial that apply to you are those shown in the App at the time of purchase.

How billing works on iOS

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price then in effect. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

How billing works on Android

Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, and renews automatically on the same basis. You can manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions.

Free trials and introductory offers

Where a free trial or introductory offer is available, it converts to a paid subscription at the standard price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Eligibility is generally limited to one trial per Apple ID or Google account.

When a subscription ends

If you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, or if a renewal payment fails, your account returns to the free tier. Your learning progress is not deleted.

Price changes and refunds

We may change the subscription price. Where required, the store will notify you and seek your consent before a renewal at the new price; you may cancel before the change takes effect.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by Adease LTD. Refund requests are handled under the applicable store's policy: Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com and Google at https://play.google.com/store/account. We cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

6. Virtual items

Coins, XP, streaks, streak freezes, simulated balances, and league positions are features of the App with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money, goods, or services, cannot be transferred, and are not your property. We may adjust, reset, or remove them, for example to correct an error or prevent abuse.

7. Leagues and your content

If you take part in leagues, the display name you choose and your league score are visible to other users. Choose a display name that does not reveal information you want to keep private, and that is not offensive or impersonating someone else.

You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as chart images and messages to the AI coach. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the App's features to you. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.

8. Third-party brokers and links

The App may show links to third-party brokers, exchanges, or other services. Those are independent businesses. We do not operate, endorse, or guarantee them, and any account you open or money you place with them is governed solely by their terms. We may receive a referral fee if you sign up through a link in the App. A link is not a recommendation that a service is suitable for you.

9. Conduct

You may not use Vestriq to:

• manipulate leagues, streaks, or rewards by automation, multiple accounts, or exploiting errors;
• upload unlawful, obscene, hateful, harassing, or infringing content;
• attempt to extract, overload, or misuse the AI features, or use them to generate content presented as professional financial advice;
• scrape, copy, or redistribute lessons or other App content in bulk;
• interfere with the App, circumvent security or access controls, or attempt to reach data that is not yours;
• copy, modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer the App, except where the law expressly allows it.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, and report unlawful material to the relevant authorities.

10. Intellectual property

All App code, lessons, interfaces, design, and branding remain the property of Adease LTD or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial learning, subject to these Terms.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features, and limit access for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Where a change materially reduces a paid benefit you have already bought, you may cancel and, where required by law, receive a proportionate refund.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, act unlawfully, or where required by law or platform rules. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel that through the App Store or Google Play.

13. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that lessons, market information, simulations, or AI-generated content are accurate, complete, or current, or that using the App will lead to any particular financial outcome.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adease LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses; for any investment or trading loss, or any other financial decision you make, whether or not informed by the App; for any act or omission of a third-party broker or service; or for loss of data, progress, or account access. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect.

15. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Anthropic, and the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of the App through those platforms is also subject to their terms. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.

16. Apple-specific terms

The following apply where you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, and prevail over any conflicting provision in these Terms.

(a) Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and Adease LTD only, not with Apple. Adease LTD, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.

(b) Scope of licence. The licence granted to you for the App is a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

(c) Maintenance and support. Adease LTD is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services.

(d) Warranty. Adease LTD is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are the sole responsibility of Adease LTD.

(e) Product claims. Adease LTD, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

(f) Intellectual property rights. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Adease LTD, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.

(g) Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

(i) Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.

(j) Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Adease LTD is registered in England and Wales, company number 14743980, registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect once posted at https://adease.io/vestriq_terms. Where changes are material, we will give reasonable notice in the App or by email. Continued use after changes take effect indicates acceptance.
