Just ask

Once LinkedIn is connected, ask.

Why is the EU campaign not producing leads? Which campaigns are over £80 per lead? Narrow the EU audience to DACH and Benelux Create a webinar campaign for UK managers Which job titles are converting? Why does LinkedIn need reconnecting? Which LinkedIn permissions did we grant? Disconnect this ad account

How it works

Connecting a LinkedIn ad account

Step 1

Sign in with LinkedIn

Use the LinkedIn login with access to the ad account in Campaign Manager. Grant the permissions listed below and choose the ad account by its ID. The connection belongs to the client workspace you made it in.

Step 2

Sync

Adease syncs campaign groups, campaigns and ads with spend, impressions, clicks, leads and cost per lead for the last 30 days, then keeps them in step.

Step 3

Changes through approvals only

Ads write is used to apply changes you approve — budgets, status, audiences, new campaigns created paused — inside your spend guardrails. LinkedIn expires tokens periodically; reconnect from Integrations when prompted.

Approvals

What the connection lets the agent propose

Read access finds these. Write access applies them, after you approve.

What Adease reads from LinkedIn

The campaign group, campaign and ad structure of the connected ad account with its settings — objectives, budgets, bids, audiences, schedules — and its metrics: spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, leads and cost per lead, including lead-gen form campaigns. Thirty days are synced on connection and kept in step afterwards.

The permissions, explained

Lead data stays where it is

Adease reads lead counts and cost per lead for reporting and optimisation. It does not download lead-gen form submissions; those stay in Campaign Manager or flow to your CRM through LinkedIn's own integrations. Structure and targeting are built by the agent and created paused; ad creative is finished in Campaign Manager.

Reconnecting and disconnecting

LinkedIn expires access tokens periodically, and the connection then shows "Reconnect required" — reconnect with the same login and syncing continues. To disconnect, use Integrations in the client's workspace or remove Adease under Permitted services in your LinkedIn settings. Disconnecting deletes the synced campaign data for that account from your workspace.

Where it fits

A good fit if you

  • run LinkedIn for B2B clients with lead targets
  • want a dead campaign caught in days
  • run Google search alongside LinkedIn and want them in one place

Not a fit if you

  • need finished ad creative generated for every platform — today that ships end to end on Meta only
  • want an agent that acts on its own without review — Adease will not do that
  • work on Linux, or need a dashboard a distributed team opens in a browser

Questions people ask

Does Adease post to my company Page?

Not on its own. The organisation permissions let it attach the company Page to sponsored content when you approve a proposal that creates an ad. It does not publish organic updates.

Why does LinkedIn need reconnecting more often than other platforms?

LinkedIn issues access tokens with a fixed lifetime and does not always allow silent renewal. When one expires the connection shows "Reconnect required"; reconnect with the same login and nothing else changes.

Does it download my leads?

No. It reads lead counts and cost per lead. Lead-gen form submissions stay in Campaign Manager or your CRM.

Can it change my campaigns without asking?

No. There is no autonomous write path to a live ad account. Every change the agent proposes is queued in Approvals as a diff and applied only once a person approves it, inside the spend guardrails set for that workspace. Rejecting a proposal sends nothing to the platform.

Is my data used to train models?

No. Ad accounts, campaigns, knowledge cards and reports are never used to train machine learning models, and there is no setting that turns that on. Ad account credentials are never included in what is sent to the model.
